Austin Community College Students Tour Our Campus





A group of students from ACC’s Global Supply Chain Management class recently visited our Austin campus to see our business operations in action and experience our warehouse and supply chain firsthand.
The students learned about all aspects of operations and managing a successful supply chain and warehouse. We explained day-to-day flow of goods and materials up and down the supply chain, our inventory and PO management, as well as the steps we take to create operational efficiencies, optimize daily activities, improve the design and manufacturing process and provide exceptional products, technical support and services.
The students also learned about our innovative Product Configuration Services which provides customers with pre-configured, optimized and fully-integrated security solutions. From extended product burn-in and custom labeling, to pre-programming and configuration to custom solution integration, these services are designed to save businesses time and money.
We took the students to see the various divisions of our business and provided a comprehensive overview of our operations in Austin – from sales, custom design and manufacturing, to warehouse and supply chain management.
The students received a firsthand look inside our Austin warehouse. We answered their questions and gave them tips on how to effectively and efficiently manage an efficient and effective supply chain and busy warehouse. They learned about the extensive QA process we have in place for all of our security products and the additional steps we take to provide exceptional customer service and industry-leading technical support.
Our team enjoyed giving the students an in-depth tour of our Austin facilities, as well as tips that help a successful business maintain its competitive edge.
